Todays day brought another change on the leader position of the SEOcontest2008. Yesterday it was www.seocontest2008-sphere.com, by the French Sphere team, and today its Benj Ariola’s www.seocontest2008.com again on top of the listing. As you can see its changing everyday, so it means the competition between top 2 SEOcontest2008 participants is fierce, and no one gives up easily. It makes the contest more interesting.

There are another news today from SEOcontest2008. Pogung17, who is occupying position number 7 on the Google SERP, got his domain name back, after almost 5 days of waiting. He had to prove to Godaddy domain name registrar his ownership of the http://www.pogung177.com domain name. He lost it temporarily to a domain name thief as he writes on his blog. Basically he lost not only a domain name for 5 days, lots of nerves and time, but also he lost 5 days of competing and optimizing his website for the SEOcontest2008. Google can treat that domain in a worse way than it deserves as it may believe it is not interesting, important and valuable to users as it was for 5 days parked and for sale at Godaddy, so it may drop down in SERP.
